Coby is a consumer rights solicitor and a leading authority in the UK on EU Regulation 261/2004 and mis sold car finance.
He has been with Bott and Co for over fifteen years, and in that time has dealt with several high profile cases that have helped define and shape the law as it is today.
Coby has won many accolades at esteemed award ceremonies, including Rising Star of the Year at the Modern Law Awards and Associate of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards.
As a member of The Law Society, he was highly commended for the Senior Lawyer of the Year at the Law Society Excellence Awards.
At Bott and Co, Coby was instrumental in establishing a new legal service in flight delay compensation, where his focus is on recovering compensation for airline passengers, whose claims have been ignored or declined by airlines.
He has been at the forefront of significant flight delay compensation cases that resulted in victory for millions of passengers, including Huzar v Jet2 and Dawson v Thomson.
In recent years, Coby has been central to establishing a new Mis Sold Motor Finance department at Bott and Co. In addition, he has played a significant role in the landmark case of Mrs Young vs Black Horse
