Ginell Dewhurst is a Portal Fee Earner in the Road Traffic Accident department after starting as an Office Junior.
Having spent time in this role, she worked her way through to the Operations Team and this is where she took an interest in Road Traffic Accident claims. It is in her role as an Admin Assistant on the Road Traffic Accident department where she gained a thorough understanding of how claims and sources are dealt with.
Ginell currently holds a caseload of over 300 clients from initial claims contact to completion and works hard to ensure clients receive the highest possible compensation in the shortest time.
She prides herself on giving the very best client care and as a result, receives excellent feedback from them. Her natural empathy means that she is able to reassure clients and sympathise with them.
“I take pride in my work; I try to the best of my ability to assist all my clients. I build good rapport and I sympathise with the clients as most of them haven’t been in this situation before.”
For her the most rewarding part of her job is when you can finally have the conversation with the client about how the claim has settled and the reaction is priceless.
“I thoroughly enjoy my job and still learn new things every day to broaden my knowledge of the Road Traffic Accident Industry.
She remembers a time when a client sent in a package of wine, bath salts and a lovely scarf to show her appreciation.
She strongly believes that the client’s journey through the claims process should be as stress-free as possible, and makes sure that her clients come first.
Ginell is delighted to see how the firm has grown and developed and feels incredibly proud to be part of that success.
“Swift progression throughout the company is a huge motivator for me. Getting the support from colleagues while studying is something I don’t take for granted as I realise not many firms provide this.”
In her spare time Ginell enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also goes to the gym where she tries to keep fit and healthy.
