James is a Legal Assistant in Bott and Co’s Holiday Claims Team after having joined the firm in 2016.
He decided to pursue a career in law very early so when an opportunity at Bott and Co presented itself, he applied for it while at the same time pursuing a Level 3 paralegal apprenticeship at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Starting as an Office Junior Starting he quickly worked his way up to the Legal Assistant role in the Holiday Claims team where he is able to help individuals that have had the unfortunate experience of suffering an accident while abroad.
At Bott and Co, we understand now the distress and expense that having an accident on holiday can cause. As well as the holiday being ruined, there are often significant injuries and costs.
With an excellent reputation for high levels of customer service and integrity, Bott and Co we understand your needs and provide the very best legal representation and customer service for holiday compensation claims.
The most rewarding part of the job for him is being able to successfully help people who have unfortunately had an injury while on holiday and seeing a case settle after spending a lot of time and effort on the claim.
“I enjoy getting good results for my clients and the fact that I am a part of helping the client to receive compensation.”
James has great people skills and attention to detail and has the ability to adapt his approach when speaking to different clients.
Enthusiastic and keen to develop further within the firm, James intends to exceed all expectations that will help develop his career further in this area of law.
Outside of the office James is a keen footballer, cricketer and golfer. He plays football and cricket every Saturday depending on the time of year. He is also a Manchester United fan, follows Lancashire County Cricket club passionately and particularly loves golden retrievers.
