Thomas is a Legal Assistant in Bott and Co’s Holiday Claims Team.
Prior to pursuing a legal apprenticeship, Thomas studied LLB Law at Lancaster University for one year. Thomas joined Bott and Co in 2016 as an Office Assistant in the Holiday Claims Team and quickly became a Legal Assistant whilst studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) with the aim to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
The firm’s commitment to achieving the best possible outcome of every claim when it comes to helping holidaymakers making successful claims for compensation is what motivates him.
Working as an Office Assistant gave Thomas the opportunity to understand the ethos of Bott and Co.
Thomas takes initial instructions from clients, advises them on the different stages of their claim, and obtains and produces detailed witness statements.
He takes pride in delivering a service with sensitivity and respect, ensuring that the best possible claim is presented.
For Thomas, client care is the most important aspect of his work and he has a high level of attention to detail.
Having an accident while on holiday abroad is understandably disappointing and the situation is made worse if you find yourself having to pay for medical costs
Our experience in holiday compensation claims means we have an in-depth understanding of the kinds of accidents that people can unfortunately suffer whilst on holiday.
When asked what he enjoys most about his role at Bott and Co, Thomas said “I enjoy being able to secure compensation that is satisfactory as clients motivate me on a daily basis. There’s nothing better that knowing your hard work has achieved a successful outcome.”
Outside of work, Thomas volunteered for a number of years coaching a youth basketball team and was awarded the Young Supports Volunteer of the Year Award in 2012 in his home town.
